So I finished the Da Vinci Code, it was really really good. It has something for every one. I'm not really into the whole murder mystery stuff but I really enjoyed it. I t was like a whole treasure hunt to find out what really happened to Christ. I can't wait for the movie to come out; I hope they stay true to the book. I heard a lot of Christian groups are being the usual bitchy whinny selves and trying to change it. You know if you're strong in your faith then you have nothing to worry about. So what it some people have an open mind about it and may change there perspectives on things. I believe there is god (somehow, somewhere) and there was a Jesus and all his magical powers blah blah blah. I think that the church didn't like the true and changed it too make themselves have more power.
This is a really a moving book and it makes you think. If we have free will then I believed it is our will or personal will to choose what we believe. I have always been the person where seeing is believing. I guess it's from all the mixed messages from catholic school. Why couldn't Jesus be married and have a child. It was they preached isn't it? To get married have kids and keep the whole charade going. It always bothered me that some people are so heavily into it its turned from some thing to guide and comfort your to something that controls you- like a cult. I just wish people would just open their minds and says hey you know that could of happed or maybe not, I wasn't there.
